1. General This Privacy Policy describes Clicannonce’s policy regarding the collection, use, storage, sharing and protection of your personal information (“Privacy Policy”). Information sharing with and registration on social media sites: We may offer registration services that allow you to access the website or related websites with your login credentials. We may also offer services that allow you to share information with third-party social media sites, such as Facebook, Google Plus and Twitter.

If you give us access to personal information stored on third-party websites, the extent of access to such personal information will vary from website to website and will be determined both by your own browser settings and your consent. If you wish to connect your third party account to your Clicannonce account and you consent to our accessing such third party account information, you agree that we may collect, use and store information from such third party website in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Transfer of your personal information to third parties: We may disclose your personal information to third parties in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable laws and regulations. As described in more detail in Section 4, we will not disclose your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes without your explicit consent. We may share your personal information with :

Classifieds Group companies to provide joint content and services (such as registration and customer support), to prevent, detect and investigate possible illegal activities, violations of our policy, fraud and/or data security breaches, and to support decision making on products, websites, applications, services, tools and communication. The companies in the Classifieds Group will only use this information to send you marketing messages if you have requested their services, and they will use your personal information in accordance with their respective privacy policies. service providers with whom we have entered into an agreement to help us provide our Services on the website, such as financial service providers, marketing agencies and technical support. In such cases, personal information will remain under the control of Clicannonce. If you publish an ad, your ad or business address may be displayed on a map in your ads (including in the Clicannonce mobile application) via Google Maps and thus transferred to Google (see Google’s Privacy Notice for more information).

Before personal information is provided, the owner of the PI will enter into an agreement which, among other things, states that the information is provided only on the strict condition that it may only be used in connection with legal proceedings and/or to obtain legal advice and/or to answer questions from the relevant advertiser Without limiting the foregoing, we will not disclose your personal information to third parties without a court order or formal government request pursuant to applicable law, unless we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to prevent imminent harm or financial damage or to report suspected illegal activities.

Information you share on www.clicannonce.ca: Our website allows users to share advertisements and other information with other users, making this shared information available to other users. As our website also allows you to contact a buyer or seller directly, we recommend that you consider how you share your personal information with others. You are solely responsible for the personal information you share through our website and we cannot guarantee the confidentiality or security of information shared by you with other users.

If you visit our website from a shared computer or a computer in an Internet café, we strongly recommend that you log off after each session. If you don’t want the shared computer to remember you and/or your login details, you’ll need to delete cookies and/or the history of your website visits.

Your data controller may transfer data to other members of our family of companies as described in this Privacy Policy who may process and store your personal information on servers in the European Union, the United States and our data centers in other parts of the world.

4. Marketing purposes You agree that we may use the information collected by us to send you offers, whether personalized or not, or to contact you by telephone regarding products or Services offered by Clicannonce or the companies in the Classifieds Group.

We will not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes without your explicit consent. We may combine your information with information we collect from other companies and use it to improve and personalize our Services and features.

If you no longer wish to receive marketing communications from us, you may, if necessary, change your preferences in your “My Clicannonce” account, or follow the unsubscribe link in the marketing communication you have received.

5. Advertising Clicannonce – . If you do not wish to participate in our advertising personalization using your personal information or in our retargeting/tracking programs, you may unsubscribe by following the instructions provided in the applicable advertisement, or directly on the META or GOOGLE website and use the unsubscribe mechanism. This does not necessarily mean that you will no longer receive advertisements. This simply means that these ads will not be personalized for you via cookies, web beacons or similar technologies.
6. Cookies – When you use our Services, we and our service providers may place cookies (data files on the disk of your phone or mobile device) or web beacons (electronic images placed in the code of a web page) or similar technologies. We use cookies to help us identify you as a user, to provide you with a better experience on our website, to measure the effectiveness of our promotions and to ensure the trust and security of our website. 7. Accessing, reviewing and modifying your personal information We cannot modify your personal or account information. You can modify your own information by logging into your Clicannonce account. When you publish a classified ad, you may not be able to change your ad or delete your message. If you wish to close your account (if any) with us, please send us a request here. We will deal with your request within a reasonable time and process your personal information in accordance with applicable law. Alternatively, you may also contact Customer Support to access your personal information stored by us that is not directly accessible on Clicannonce, unless we are not required to provide access under applicable law. We may charge fees to offset costs; however, fees will not exceed the amount permitted by law. If your information is factually incorrect or incomplete or irrelevant to the purposes for which we process your information, you may ask us to amend or delete your information. Such requests will be handled in accordance with applicable law. If you have any questions, please contact us using the subject line ‘Privacy Policy Request’ :

8. Protection and storage of your personal information We protect your information using technical and administrative security measures (such as firewalls, data encryption, and physical and administrative access controls to data and servers) that limit the risk of loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, and alteration. However, if you feel that your account has been abused, please contact us via the Contact Form.

We retain personal information for as long as permitted by law and delete personal information when it is no longer required for the purposes described above.

9. Other information Abuse and unsolicited commercial communications (“spam”): We do not tolerate abuse of our website. You do not have permission to add other Clicannonce users to your mailing list (e-mail or postal) for commercial purposes, even if a user has purchased something from you, unless the user has given explicit consent. If you notice that someone is abusing our website (spam or spoofing emails), please report it to us here.

You may not use our member-to-member communication resources to send spam or content that otherwise violates our Terms of Use. For your security, we may automatically scan messages for spam, viruses, phishing and other malicious activity or illegal or prohibited content. We do not permanently store messages sent via these resources.

Third Parties: Unless explicitly stated otherwise in this Privacy Policy, this Privacy Policy applies solely to the use and transfer of information we collect from you. Clicannonce has no control over the privacy policies of third parties that may apply to you. When we work with third parties or use third-party tools to provide certain services, we will explicitly state which privacy policy applies to you. We therefore encourage you to ask questions before disclosing your personal information to others.
